Stellenbeschreibung

A leading Insurer based in Essex is looking to bring in a Senior Project Manager with a focus on Regulatory change to be part of a centralised internal consultancy. MUST come from a consultancy background.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working within a consultancy working with Insurance or Financial Service clients externally.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive projects to completion with agreed timescales and benefits and outcomes are in line with expectations
  • Provide project delivery leadership of assigned regulatory change projects
  • Ensuring the deliverables are clearly established with responsibility assigned and accepted by owners and each given completion deadlines
  • Management of project resources and costs
  • Preparation of financial analysis for projects approving spend, completion of documentation and process required for sign off
  • Provide necessary leadership, management, mentor-ship and training of other Project Managers and Business Analysts
  • Ensure quality assurance processes are in place in order to guarantee the outcomes are equal to expectations
  • Leading project managers and business analysts to completion of project activity
  • Provision of timely and accurate project reporting and MI

  • Excellent communicator, such as;
    • Ability to initiate, grow and maintain strong relationships at all levels including executive sponsors, business leaders, subject matter experts and other key stakeholders
    • Ability to manage executive and senior staff
    • Skilled in the management of stakeholder expectations
    • Ability to adapt content, style and level of detail of written and verbal communications to fit diverse audiences
  • Critical thinker:
    • Ability to understand, articulate and translate complex business problems to define clear activities in desired solutions
    • Identify problems, performing analysis to determine root causes and provision of workable solutions

  • Technical expertise:
    • Understanding of Project Management methodologies
    • Use of MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Regulations such as SM&CR, MiFID II, EMIR, D/F, Solvency II, IDD, GDPR etc.
