Business Process Analyst (BPMN) - Central London - £55,000

The role will be expected long term to be 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 days from home

Brand new role created in a change management team for a successful investments business. Going through a major change across the group, this role will join a 3 year transformation and will be the sole BA running the process mapping and process re-engineering for this change happening in the group. You will also set up the standards, governance and methodologies. The business works in a Waterfall model / Prince2.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business managers and employees to understand and document business requirements and processes across affected business areas
  • To develop complete and accurate business models including process, data and organisation
  • To understand, document and prioritise business requirements across affected business areas
  • To work with business owners to develop optimal solutions
  • Work within project teams to plan and analyse work, and highlight risks and issues
  • Create project initiation documents defining high-level scope
  • Work with business owners to define acceptance criteria
  • Support user acceptance testing
  • Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders

Skills:

  • Experience in a business analyst role in a professional service environment
  • Experience of business process modelling using a recognised methodology
  • Experience of facilitating workshops to gather requirements and define processes
  • Experience of working on both business change and technology-centric projects
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to work with minimal direct supervision
  • Able to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and process improvement/business transformation skills
