The Hedging Analyst will critically support the organisations business model which involves frequent and accurate monitoring and management of interest rate, inflation and currency risks across a variety of different reporting metrics (i.e. Solvency, IFRS & EV) as well as their constituent components.
The role will be to produce and explain these metrics to the wider business (Traders, Senior Management, Risk Team, Financial Reporting). The role will also include the ongoing maintenance and development of the models to incorporate sophisticated what-if analysis and prospective management actions.
The Hedging Analyst will work with the Head of Hedging to maintain and develop hedging and scenario testing framework. They will gain exposure to senior management as well as both first and second line teams to understand and improve the organisations hedging processes.
- To support the production and explanation of hedging MI
- The understand and maintain the models required to produce the hedging MI
- To develop additional functionality and improve existing functionality of the existing models
- Work with wider ALM and Investment Teams to understand and improve hedging capabilities
You will be a Part-Qualified Actuary with 1-3 years experience with strong attention to detail and an interest in Data Analytics and Modelling.
